If ever there was a dead post, This. Is. It.

Ok, I have a plan to bring this blog back from the dead! *applause*
So I'm thinking that this place defintitely needs a blog makeover, or a picture of an
apple cobbler. Anything that sparks an interest and gets this sinking ship sailing again!
I'm only going to post once a month (it's a WAY easier goal to achieve espeacially when high school gets busy...) So I hope to be done renovations soon! I hope you all will like the 'new look'

Just Because...

It's time. It's the end, and the beggining for people. Graduation. End of that certain phase in life and on to take the next step. Which the Greek word gladi means, a step. (Or so I've heard.) So I was thinking that this quote I found by none other than good ol' Dr. Seuss explained some stuff really well.

I WON!

I WON A WRITING CONTEST! Well actually it was a short story contest and I didn't get first but I did get a honourable mention ($50 and a certificate or something...) It was my first time entering and I only found out about the contest the day before the entries had to be in. So my story, (which I had already written) fit all the criteria... But there was one problem, I didn't have time to edit all my mistakes and make it better. :(

But I'm really happy and pleased about my getting an honourable mention! :D Maybe I'll enter again next year and win! :) at least I would be way more prepared! Anyways that's all that's going on in my life!

Friend's Random Question To Me

So one day... A friend of mine asked me the question, "do you think Global Warming is real?" Random I know but that was the point it was a random question game, so what I thought was yes... And no. I told her, "well, the earth is warming. Like there is less snow than there use to be, and of course the lack of minus 40 degree temperatures... Sooo sorta." Guess what she did! She laughed and told me that she thought that was called "spring!" I was soo surprised, impressed, amused, and I realized that I had sooo set myself up for that one! And I just laughed and laughed! :) Sooo I thought that you would enjoy a little joke to brighten your day, now that I think about it, this story sounds like it came out of a Reader's Digest!! Before you ask, no I did not copy this story, I was the one being made fun of, soo ya! ;)
