I'm planning on for my birthday which is in like 4 DAYS!!!! that I will FINALLY watch SOUL SURFER! And have a sleep-over too you know just hang out. I know I'm a little late in watching Soul Surfer but hey it'll be just as good as if say I saw it as soon as it came out.

ANYWAYS I though I would post just in case people might think I um... Died or in some way have lost my ability to type...

But I haven't, SO I probably won't post anytime soon, probably almost not at all in the summer. Hopefully I'll come up with a better idea to post about other than boring stuff.... (It's unlikely tho...)

The Battle of the Red and Whites

The Battle of the Red and Whites

How can a person or people live up to
high expectations? They know the odds are against them, they know some incidents have held them and still do hold them back.

As the red and white team take position facing the surprising strong and confidant team of white and green, the skipper injured, but still hanging on to a seemingly lost hope. She knows in her heart that her mates will try their best to set her up well enough to take a gutsy stand. But no one does, or can. The red and white mates standing in the back have a hard time keeping in line and standing with confidence. They appear not ready to block any strikes
that threaten. Meanwhile
their keeper shows extreme readiness and is able to save
her band of red and white many a time. They have lost their sharp awareness that they had previously.

The keeper, exhausted, lets it sadly fly by, leaving the red and whites vulnerable were the back mates. The important event ends with the green and white team joyously excited and proud. While the red and white team hang their heads in defeat, ashamed that they did not live up to the high expectations, they forget that they still do have supporters.

Even though they did not win the battle that showed their worthiness (or lack their of,) their people know, and they know, that
they will show worthiness on home soil in 4 years where they stand to do battle once again. That
is where it will show, they're worthy of the title, they can have a better fight, they are worthy of our pride. This war comes to an end for the red and whites, as they have been defeated in 3 battles. They will be strong and sowill their people!

Just Because...

It's time. It's the end, and the beggining for people. Graduation. End of that certain phase in life and on to take the next step. Which the Greek word gladi means, a step. (Or so I've heard.) So I was thinking that this quote I found by none other than good ol' Dr. Seuss explained some stuff really well.

“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose. You're on your own.
And you know what you know. You are the guy who'll decide where to go.”
-Dr. Seus
What an awesome author eh?! I think he's the greatest. :D And he IS!
Anyways just a few thoughts...

Vacation South...

Well, I'm on a little vacay to my grandparents and other relative's/cousin's houses! :) It being a "vacation" because... well it's just more south than where I live! :P So while I'm here of course I'm on the computer... But when I'm not I'm practicing to play pool, it is sooo fun! (I'm not very good but I'm getting better!) I just play for fun and my brothers and I just want to win... as in get all our solids or stripes in the holes... ;) BTW I don't have a pool table at home so only three times a year or so we come down and then I can play it. Anyways I just wanted to say HEY! and let ya'll know what I'm doin'!

Sunsets are a Sign of Summer

Budding trees mingled with sunsets in the background is a beautiful thing
Never should it be a waste of time to behold, it's something worth waiting for...
You should have all the time in the world to appraise the Creator's work everyday.

Sunsets inspire love, joy, hope, grace, and many more things that will brighten your day.

About this post: I had a lot of fun taking pictures and editing them on Picnik...
I hope you enjoyed this sentimental post.
Taking pictures and editing them is one of my favourite pass times.
Other than reading, sports and writing of course.

Summer *SIGH*

Summer is coming! No more frosty days, no more gloomy personalities radiating from people, no more school... :) The May long weekend is over and it signifies for many Canadians the start of summer. For me it did, I went swimming, and BRRRR was it cold. But it was so refreshing! I was brave and went through with it. The water will warm up eventually, but 'till then I'll brave the cold and no one will stop me!
So summer with the tans (and sunburns,) the swims (and quick dips,) the smell of freshly cut grass in the evening, the glorious sunsets painted in the sky, the warm rain sprinkling on the face, the sun-kissed hair, the colourful beach bags, the marshmallows browning on a stick over a campfire, the family memories made, the star filled heavens at night, the bright yellow orb called "the sun" which makes summer..., summer.
